My foray into ceramic expression began through an exploration of organic forms, sculpted to emphasize the natural stoneware body. Through a sensual interaction with the clay, each amorphous form became unto itself while I merely facilitated the movement by listening with my hands.

This formed a series of vessels inspired by the tide. They are echoes of the sea, with organic forms reminiscent of shells, skeletal structures, and sea creatures. The exteriors are raw clay in natural tones; just the whisper of form and silence of the seabed.
